Friday - Crafting with Pumpkin

Hello Everyone,

Happy Friday!!  Are you all enjoying the Fall weather?

We have finally started getting our rain here in Washington and I LOVE IT.. at least I will until about January. hehe

It is so nice to relax on the couch and have a good excuse to cuddle with Pumpkin during the gloomy weather.

I just love the coast during this time of year.  Sitting in the room watching the waves and hearing the surf... ahhhhh....  here is one of my favorite pics of Pumpkin at the beach during gloomy weather... nothing stops her.

This is back in 2009 with her Big Brother Brandon.

Pumpkin with both her Big Brothers!

This Sand Castle was HUGE... or should I say the moat was at least... We had so much fun.

ok.. I will stop dreaming now. What's a girl gotta do to get a vacation anyway!! lol

Here is a quick a project Pumpkin and I are putting together for her class mates.  Just for fun.

Here is the one Pumpkin Finished.  Leave Pumpkin a Comment letting her know what you think of her shoe house... she just love hearing me read them to her. :)

There theme the last few weeks has been HOME... so I thought the teacher would have a blast letting the children make a Shoe House.  (Bless Sarrah, she puts up with all my crafty things.  I just adore her)

We decorated our trash can lid for Halloween.  hehehe... The garbage man could care less, but with all the winds here lately, NO ONE will be SWAPPING our trash can for theirs. (see my ulterior motive)

This was pretty fun.  I used the Cameo to cut the cheap white drawer liner vinyl you get from any super store and then colored them with the ProMarkers.  Since the ProMarkers are Permanent, they hold up to the weather too. Yay!!  Something new to decorate for the Holiday's. hehe

I wonder what the Garbage Men will think on Valentine's Day.. hehehe

I was able to get a card made this week.  I am in LOVE with the Carta Bella papers.... aaaahhhhh...

(please excuse my stamping ability.  I am still learning.)

Yesterday afternoon we ventured out to the Corn Maze.  Pumpkin and Snickerdoodle had a BLAST.  Lots of giggles.

Pumpkin in a Pumpkin - hehe

(Pumpkin picked that outfit... She is a crafter.. hehe)
(Snickerdoodle and my Sweet Daughter In Law)

We have some fabulous things in store for the Blog Hop on November 3rd.  So be sure you mark your calendar to hop on over to the PumpkinSpice blog.

Happy Weekend!!

This & That; Life...a wonderful journey

Hi!  June Houck here with a little Thursday inspiration for you.

I was perusing my Shop Pumpkin Spice purchases, my Echo Park collections in particular, and I realized that "This & That" has not been out to play in a while.  The reds in this collection are so pleasing to me.  I honestly had no direction while I was creating this card; I chose to let the stickers inspire me.

The element stickers (sentiment tab, the oval with three children, and the aqua ruler)  jumped out at me.  I also liked the decorative white & aqua border sticker (bottom of card) from the alpha stickers.  Then it was just a matter of choosing the papers from the collection that I wanted to use.

I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities "Labels 1" for the die cut shape.  At first I was going to use my sewing machine to stitch the floral paper to the polka dot background, but first the needle broke, then I tried to change the bobbin and now the machine is all locked up...so I opted for a little paper piercing.

I hope I have inspired you to use your sticker stash and to remind you to check out Shop Pumpkin Spice for your paper crafting needs :)

Happy Thursday!

You'e Special

Courtney from Court's Crafts here! I used my handy-dandy Authentique 6x6 Paper Pad that I got at Shop Pumpkin Spice for this post! Love it!

I had been waiting and waiting to use this paisley paper in there. It's so scrumptious!

The greenish-blue is the opposite side of the paisley paper. I LOVE the quality of the paper in the 6x6 pad and the AWESOME fact that the opposite sides have corresponding solids. Amazing for card makers.
