Frosted Christmas

Happy Saturday!
It's Lenae here from SugarGem.
Today is actually a little sad for me.
Today is my last day with my Pumpkin Spice Team. I have decided to step down at this time. Many things have happened over the last few months and it is time to pass the baton onto some new crafty friends. I want to say Thank You SO VERY MUCH to Miss Denine for letting me part of this fabulous team and I also want to thank my
Team for such a fun experience and last, but not least I want to thank all of the YOU for all your amazing comments. You are what made this whole experience so special!
Thank you!

So today for my last post I made a couple little cards with this months FUN December kit. Like I said yesterday this kit is very versatile bringing you traditional and non traditional colors. I've had so much fun playing with this months kit I know you will too so you don't want to miss out!
This first card is my favorite card today because it looks good enough to eat with the
Frosted Lace Stickles from the December Kit. Yum Yum...

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday's!

If I can inspire just one person today I have done my job!

Traditional or Non Traditional?

Non Traditional or Traditional? Which one are you?
Or are you both? Or are you going with one or the other this Christmas Season?
I don't really think I am either one. Because I love both traditional red and green and I love non traditional pinks, teals and yellows. I mean really who gives a woman a choice right?
Don't we just want it all? That's the great thing about the scrumptious December Kit at Pumpkin Spice You really DON'T have to make a decision on Traditional or Non Traditional because it gives you the best of both worlds!

Hi everyone it's Lenae here from SugarGem.
Today's card I used both Red and Teal. The red is like a berry red though which makes it really pop.

This base striped paper is probably one of my most favorite patterns this year. Maybe it's because it is like a mini candy strip? Anyway I think I need another 20 sheets to get through this season.
You can get yours right here for only $24.95.
Happy Crafting!
If I can inspire just one person today I have done my job!

Winterland Fun Penguins

Hello Everyone,

Denine here from, well, PumpkinSpice. {hehehe}

I wanted to share a little something Pumpkin and I put together last night.

I just love crafting with her.  They say the more you have your little people do with their hands, the better at math they will be later in life.  Well Pumpkin is my test subject.. hehehe.  I do have to admit, the boys played with a lot of legos and are fairly good in the arithmatic arena, so there may be some merit to this.

Ok, onto the craft.

Isn't she cute?

Pumpkin and I just love this little Penguin and she just works perfect with the papers from the SPS kit.

Recipe:
Winterland Fun kit
scraps of black, white, orange and pink cardstock

Have a great Thursday!

JOY with CARTA BELLA "WINTER FUN"

Good Morning Friends,

This is DIANA L. from DL.ART,  I will be the featured designer here at  shop Pumpkin Spice today and on  December 14th.  I will be showcasing the December kit  "Wonderland FUN".
Each designer will have a few days this month to share with you and show just how awesome and versatile this kit can be.
I would suggest you get this kit quick, they go fast!

Here is a peek of my project for today.

These papers are from the 6x6 paper pad Carta Bella's "Winter Fun"

The background card stock  is core'dinations from the vintage collection

I used some frosted lace stickles in the middle of the snowflake, it is very subtle.

I love how the texture of the paper along with the words, gives a lot of interest too the piece. I used pop dots underneath the word joy to give dimension also.

The twine jute is a nice addition to the kit, it is more pliable than regular jute

Here is the card I made from the Kit for the SPS blog hop on Saturday December 1st.

"All is Bright" Matchbook Mini Album

I'm so glad you're back again today. I have another mini album to share with you. This one is called a "Matchbook Mini" and it's inspired by the creations of Laura Denison. This mini was a delight to create and it didn't take very long. I followed all the instructions from Laura's blog. Click here to read her blog post and follow along with her simple instructions.

The paper that I used to create this mini is the My Mind's Eye "All is Bright" paper line. This paper and all the embellishments are just beautiful! I loved the soft vintage colors and the chevron and hexagon accents.

Here is a video showing my completed album.

"Lost and Found" Christmas Envelope Mini Album

Happy Monday everyone! Can you believe it's already December? I know right. How did this happen?

Well I've been in full Christmas crafty mode for some time now. Ever since the new Christmas paper lines have come out, I've been a crafting fool. You can never have too many cards, tags, mini albums, or projects on hand. You never know when you'll need an instant gift or goodie.

Today I've created a Christmas mini album using the "Lost and Found" Christmas paper line by My Mind's Eye. The main component of this mini is created using envelopes. Here is a video tutorial on how I created this mini.

Supplies:

My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found Christmas - Glittered Adhesive Chip
MME "Lost and Found" Christmas
products found here

To create this album I used the following measurements:
8 large envelopes (71/4" by 5 1/4")
-seal 2 envelopes and leave for the front and back covers
-seal 6 envelopes and cut the length of each to 7"
6 large tags cut from cardstock (6 1/4" by 5")
12 papers to cover each side of the envelopes (6" by 4 1/4")

While your busy purchasing all the amazing Christmas papers from the Shop Pumpkin Spice online store, make sure to purchase the December card kit called Wonderland Fun.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow! I'm sharing another Christmas mini album. Hint : matchbook mini.
