Holiday Blog Hop with TheBugBytes

Happy Saturday Morning Everyone,

Can you believe we are already half way through December?  Where oh where do the days go?

Today I am playing with The Bug Bytes Design Team in a Holdiay Hop.  Theme "Anything Holiday"

You should have arrived from Lisa's Blog  If you just happened upon the hop here at PumpkinSpice, you will want to start at the begining - lots of inspiration and Goodies to be given.. Who doesn't love goodies... So start at TheBugBytes and follow the path of goodness.

I made a card with the December SPS kit "Winterland Fun".  Loving these papers, they go together so well and makes matching patterned paper a breeze.  I am an addict for PATTERN paper.  Just love looking at it!

I was inspired by June's post.  I have always loved the patchwork cards.  These squares are 1 inch by 1 inch.

My Recipe:

MME - Winter Wonderland (In the kit)
MPS - Biggie Christmas (retired)
Silver Crinkle Ribbon (In tthe Kit)
Tim Holtz - Distressed -

Blog Hop Line-up - ENJOY!!  These Ladies are FAB-U-LOUS!!

December 14, 2012-- Featured Designer & December Kit

December 14th, 2012

Hi Friends,

This is DIANA L. from DL.ART, I am the featured designer today and excited to be sharing a couple of designs I created from the December kit
They say all good things must come to an end, sad but true. This will be my last post for this term with Shop Pumpkin Spice. I have enjoyed being part of this awesome team so much and Denine, the owner of Shop Pumpkin Spice has been so generous and supportive to each and everyone of us.
Shortly, she will be announcing the new team for 2013, you will want to stay tuned for that.

These small white bags were in the kit,  I dressed them up with some embossed silver Bazzill card stock  ribbon and metallic dots.

I always need gift card holders this time of year so I thought I would make a few from this kit. I like the fun crisp look of this one.

All the products I used are from the SPS December kit (except for the embossing folder)

This is the December kit  "Winterland Fun "

Cork Tree

Hello! Courtney from Court's Crafts here and I am the featured designer today! Each of the designers gets two days on the blog before the next DT term starts! :) Make sure to check them out all month long!

Designer's Note: This was NOT my original idea. This idea came from a booth at CHA and then someone pinned it and I grabbed that pin. Anyway, thought it was super cute so this is my casing of the project! :)
Second Note: the bottom cork is a champagne cork! This was my husband's idea. He's brilliant!

Christmas Joy

Hello! Courtney from Court's Crafts here and I am the featured designer today and tomorrow! Each of the designers gets two days on the blog before the next DT term starts! :) Make sure you check out all of the posts all month long!

Here is a card that I made entirely from the kit. (oops! The doily came from SPS February Kit which is sold out. It was fellow SPS DT member June's idea! Brilliant!) The kit is kind of ridiculously awesome. You'll see pics from my projects all month long! I couldn't stop creating with it! :) The link is below if you would like to purchase it before it sells out!

There is actually stickles in the dots in the tree, but they didn't show up in the photo.

Exciting note: This is the VERY first card that I have ever sewn on!!! I just got a sewing/embroidery machine and watch out! I am a sewing fiend! Lovin' it! :)

Paper Ornaments

Lezlye here again today with some lovely paper ornaments for your tree using the fabulous December Kit that Denine has put together for Shop Pumpkin Spice!

I used another SVG File to create the layers for this beautiful ornament. I added a few bling items such as the jeweled brad that comes in the kit. I hope I have inspired you to create some last minute ornaments or these would be great on a package too!

There's Snow one like you!

Good Monday Morning, Shop Pumpkin Spice Fans! Lezlye here from , Lezlye's Ink and Paper Creations. This month's designer kit the whole design team has been creating for your viewing pleasure.
For my creation, I started with an SVG file that I purchased from Treasurebox Designs. I cut the pieces out of the 6x6 papers from Carta Bella that came in the kit. Then I sized the card to 5 x 7 to fit my image. I made my angel snowman a scarf out of the washi tape in the kit. To make the paper long enough I pieced two different patterns together. A great way to stretch your kit!

Supplies:
SPS December Kit
SVG File:Treasurebox Designs
Stickles
Washi tape for scarf
For our hop on the 1st of December I created this adorable treat box.

Thanks for stopping by and head to the store to get your kit!
