and Email me your mailing address to receive your special prize!

And here is our Challenge #28.

 Farm
(animals or vegetables -  anything that makes you think farm )

Here is my interpretation:

Cute huh??!!
I used the left over Carta Bella "Alphabet Junction" from the layout yesterday along with my ProMarkers.  I love to color... takes me back to elementary school.

I really like the ProMarkers because I am not an experienced 'shader' so just coloring over the same area with the same or similar color will kinda do the shading for you.

Daily SPS Inspiration with Denine - Layout

Hello Friends,

I am so excited.. I put together a layout the other evening while the Hubby and I were watching TV.  So easy... I think I am in love with the Pocket Photo Pages.  It makes it so simple and I have lots of space for journaling.

I must admit, I was not a fan of this type of layouts.  I thought I was cheating.. but let me just say... I love it!  I get to show off the paper, which if you know me... I LOVE PAPER.  Super easy to fill the page and show off your pictures too...

ok.. ok... enough of my rambling.

Here is what I came up with using just 3 sheets of 12 x 12 with LOTS of extras left over to make some cards with.

I used Carta Bella's - Alphabet Junction.

I have more of these pocket pages arriving tomorrow in 6 different styles.. Eeeekkkkk.  Looking forward to a weekend of Scrapbooking. :)

Remember, voting is open until 9 pm PST for Challenge #26
and you still have time to submit your project for Challenge #27, voting will OPEN at 9:01 pm PST for Challenge #27

Happy Crafter Hugs,

Today's SPS Inspiration from Saundra ~ 3D Project

Hi There! Saundra here from Luv Scrapping Together!

Today I am sharing a 3D project using products from Shop Pumpkin Spice and a free file from SVG Cuts.

SVG Cuts was giving away a free clutch file and I just had to make it!

The clutch was super easy to put together and I really love how it came out!

The base was cut from Bazzill cardstock.

My patterned paper is from Echo Park "Times and Seasons." This particular pattern is called "Trinkets."  I inked the edges with some Ranger Distress Ink. Brads were added from Echo Park This & That and a resin flower from my stash to finish it off. I, also, added a bit of Velcro to hold the flap down.

You can see even more products from Shop Pumpkin Spice HERE.

Don't forget to join in the current challenge Here!

I hope you enjoyed my 3D project today.

Until next time...
Happy Crafting!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Agnes - Card

hello and welcome to the pumpkin spice blog.
I am agnes (flowerdisco) from  flowerdisco's scrap hut and i am glad you took the time to visit us.

i made this cute, easy and simple card for a graduation party we were invited to and i thought it was a nice card to share with you today.

this is a squared card measuring approx 4" x 4.25".

Congratulations
for this card i used a bazzill black cardstock for my base (which i dry embossed) and a patterned paper from the echo park's collection scoot.

i also used a stamp from my mind's eye to stamp the faux stitching on two of the corners.
the stickers (congratulations and the grad hat) are from an old dcwv collection i still have in my stash, :)
the edging was done with an ek success paper punch.
the school colors (from where this girl is graduating) are black and orange which i tried to incorporate with the stickers.

i hope today's project inspires you to use some of the older products you have in your stash.

take care and have a great week.

Today's Daily Inspiration from Carissa - Mini Books

Happy Monday everyone. This is Carissa from Happily Ever Paper Crafter.

I am fresh off a week's vacation with my wonderful family. We had so much fun swimming, cooking, fishing, and hanging out. How blessed am I!

Before I left for vacation I made these mini books for my nieces and nephews. I thought it would be cute to have them make books of their own. Well, I made the books, but they created the stories.

This is how I made them...

I took an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of white printer paper.
I cut a piece 4 inches high and 8 1/2 inches long.
I scored it in half at 4 1/4 inches.
Then I trimmed it to 4 inches.

I took a piece of twine and tied the paper together to form a book.

I used October Afternoon 8x8 paper for the cover.
Here, I cut a piece of cardstock 1 inch wide by 4 inches tall.
Then I scored that piece at 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 5/8 inch, and 3/4 inch.
Then I fold the cardstock to look like the above piece.

I adhered this "book edge" piece to the paper pages.

Then I cut 2 pieces of matching cardstock 4x4 and adhered it to the front and back paper pages.
Now my mini book is created.

I made 6 little books.
The circles in the center were paper punched for the title of the books.

Supplies

 Woodland Park Paper Pad 8" x 8" 46 Sheets
October Afternoon "Woodland Park" 8x8 paper pad
found here for $8.75

Hope you enjoyed this little project. It was a big hit with the kiddos. And a fun project for me to make!

Today's Daily SPS inspiration with Court: card

Hello and welcome to my Shop Pumpkin Spice post for today!

We had a blog hop yesterday filled with some AWESOME cards and a layout too! Be sure to check it out! The challenge this week is Stars or Fireworks so if you have anything that qualifies, be sure to link up HERE. Also, voting has begun for the last challenge. Be sure to vote HERE

Okay, I made another card for my best friend Kourtni. I make too many of these cards and never send them to her so I need to send this one! Hold me accountable! Do you get the sentiment with the picture? It took my husband a second. tee hee. :)

Designer's note: I generally hate coloring. So instead I filled in the stripes on the dress with stickles. BONUS! Texture AND sparkle!
